Ensuring that women are part of peace processes is crucial to the achievement of durable peace. The UN Peace Support Facility supports and advocates for women’s active and meaningful participation in peace negotiations. Since its establishment, the UN #PSF has supported Aden’s Family Protection Department in the appointment of women as Assistant Heads of police stations through advocacy and training; established a Peacebuilding Network with the Women Research and Training Center at Aden University; and enabled a safe environment for Yemeni women to discuss security concerns, prioritize urgent issues, and identify solutions.- Thanks to UNDPYemen
