Britain is set to resume Saudi arms sales, a year after the British court of appeal ruled the sales illegal because of their potential use against civilians in Saudi Arabia’s war against Yemen. International affairs editor Philip Turle says the announcement comes just as Britain announced sanctions against 20 Saudis involved in the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
