Yemen's Houthis published an almost two-minute video of what they said was footage of the "hypersonic" missile named "Palestine 2" being launched in a Sunday attack on Israel. The Iran-aligned Houthis, who control northern Yemen, reached central Israel with a missile on Sunday for the first time, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would inflict a "heavy price" on them in return. Meanwhile, Hamas chief Yehya Sinwar congratulated the Houthi group for its missile attack, asserting that Israel's plans to neutralise Hamas, a fellow Iran-aligned militant group, had failed. Sinwar has publicly declared that their "resistance is fine" and is prepared for a "long battle of attrition."
