In Wadi Al-Barakani, Yemen, farmers faced a devastating challenge: floods that washed away their crops and land. With support from @WorldBank, @UNDP’s Food Security Response and Resilience Project (FSRRP) stepped in to help by constructing gabions with Public Works Project. These gabions not only protect farms from floods but also help reclaim land previously lost to erosion. This means more food for families and communities, and a more stable income for farmers.
