Another layer of chaos is added in the War in Yemen, as clashes erupted between the Saudi-backed government troops and the separatist fighters who are supported by the United Arab Emirates, leaving at least 6 fighters dead. The two sides had been allied in the fight against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels based in the north of the country, but the separatists have declared the independence of South Yemen, reigniting a split that existed from 1967 to 1990.
