In his first address on foreign policy, the US president Joe #Biden has announced he is ending support for #Saudi Arabia-led offensive in #Yemen, including an end to arms sales. Under Donald Trump’s administration, Washington had backed Saudi Arabia’s coalition against Yemen’s #Houthi rebels, the war in the country claiming more than 100,000 lives and leaving millions on the brink of starvation. It is a major shift in the American strategy on foreign policy.
