Salwa, a passionate teacher who has been teaching children in a small living room at her parents’ house for seventeen years. She has been through many challenges trying to finish her education and find a job that can help her generate an income and help her family. Passion, dedication, and hard work, in addition to the support of UNDP and CARE International – through the Supporting Resilient Livelihoods and Food Security in Yemen joint Programme (ERRY II) – helped Salwa to transform her personal passion into a successful business and demonstrate the benefit of local education to her neighbours.- Thanks to UNDPYemen
