As part of a community initiative in Tooralbaha District, Lahj Governorate, vital water access is being provided to vulnerable populations. Under the Social Protection Project by UNDP in Yemen, in partnership with Enjaz Foundation for Development and funded by KSRelief, this project focuses on extending and installing water pipes in Habil Al Shaer and Maqoud Al Ramat villages. With the installation of new pumping systems—900 meters in Habil Al Shaer and 500 meters in Maqoud Al Ramat—920 community members will benefit from direct access to water in their homes, alleviating their struggle of relying on distant sources.
