Yemen's Houthis published an almost two-minute video of what they said was footage of the "hypersonic" missile named "Palestine 2" being launched in a Sunday attack on Israel. The Iran-aligned Houthis, who control northern Yemen, reached central Israel with a missile on Sunday for the first time, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would inflict a "heavy price" on them in return. Meanwhile, Hamas chief Yehya Sinwar congratulated the Houthi group for its missile attack, asserting that Israel's plans to neutralise Hamas, a fellow Iran-aligned militant group, had failed. Sinwar has publicly declared that their "resistance is fine" and is prepared for a "long battle of attrition." For in-depth analysis and a deeper perspective on the risks of regional war raging across the Middle East, FRANCE 24's Eve Irvine is joined by Dr. Elisabeth Kendall, Expert on Yemen, Mistress of Girton College at the University of Cambridge.
